Method

Make in bread machine

  • ¾ Cups Milk
  • Cups Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ Cups White Sugar
  • Cups All Purpose Flour
  • Tsp Bread Machine Yeast
1

Add ingredients in the order listed to the bread machine and start "dough cycle".

  • 2268 Grams Plum
purple Italian are best, but yellow freestone plums work well too
2

Roll out dough and fit into a large baking sheet with edges right up the sides to contain plums.

Wash plums, drain, cut in half, remove pits and line up in rows on top of bread layer with the skin side up until the entire surface is filled.

Make a streusel

  • Cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1⅓ Cups White Sugar
  • 1 Cup Butter
3

Make and spread over the plums.

Note: May need to add more butter as you want the streusel to be able to form clumps as you crumble it across the plums.

4

Bake 350 degrees for about 35+ minutes until streusel is slightly brown, crust is browned, and the plums just start to let go of their juices.
