Ingredients
Batter
- 4 Eggs
- ¾ Cups All Purpose Flour
- ¾ Cups Milk
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tsp Almond Extract
- 1 Pinch Fine Salt
Additions
- 1 Cup Cherries
Pitted, into halves - 4 Tbsp Butter
- 2 Tbsp Almonds
Flaked - ¼ Cups Icing Sugar
Method
In a blender
- 4 Eggs
- ¾ Cups All Purpose Flour
- ¾ Cups Milk
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tsp Almond Extract
- 1 Pinch Fine Salt

Blend all the ingredients in the blender and process, scraping if necessary, until smooth. Let rest while the oven heats to 400F.

Place the frying pan into the oven and heat to 400F.
Once hot, remove the pan from the oven and carefully add the butter, swirling to ensure it melts and coats the sides of the pan.
In the frying pan
- 1 Cup Cherries
Pitted, into halves - 2 Tbsp Almonds
Flaked - ¼ Cups Icing Sugar

Pour in the batter, quickly sprinkle on the cherries, and finish with the flaked almonds. Place back into the oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Do not open the oven or the Dutch baby will not rise properly.
Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve immediately. You may wish to enjoy with some maple syrup.
